Cab File Install

To install DayNotez™ for Pocket PC you can download the appropriate DayNotez™ CAB file to your handheld and launch the CAB to complete the installation. Also, there are additional “system” CAB files that must be installed if not already present on your handheld.

Install the CABs in this order:

1.	Microsoft .NET Compact Framework V1 SP3 (Pocket PC 2000/2002, Windows Mobile 2003/2003 SE devices only)

2.	Microsoft SQLCE V2.0

3.	Microsoft High Encryption Pack (Pocket PC 2000/2002 devices only)

If the CAB file was previously installed, during the installation you will be prompted on the handheld if you wish to reinstall the software. Answer yes to continue the cab installation. When ActiveSync Application Manager begins installing software on the Pocket PC, be sure to check the installation status on the Pocket PC. Windows Mobile 5 devices will prompt the user whenever an unsigned cab file is installed. Tap Yes when asked "The program is from an unknown publisher, You should install it only if you trust its publisher. Do you want to continue?". Also Windows Mobile 2003 SE devices will prompt during the SQLCE install that "The program you have installed may not display properly because it was designed for a previous version of Windows Mobile software". Tap Yes to continue.
