Choose this menu item to start a new note.

A new screen will open, allowing you to enter your note. If you have defined a template to apply upon starting a new note then any attributes from that template will be applied. Please read Options to learn more about configuring new note settings.

You can also start a new note using the context menu. Tap and hold on any note or date header and the context menu will open. Choose the new menu item to create a new note with the same date as the item you have selected.
