This document provides information about this version of the
Natara DayNotez journal application for Windows and the Palm 
Computing platform.

1.0  General
============================================================

See the revision history below for known bugs, and features.

DayNotez installs in a 30 day evaluation mode.  The
full product feature set is avaialable for your use.  After
30 days the conduit will no longer synchronize DayNotez
until a product registration code is entered.  

You can purchase a license for DayNotez Desktop from the Natara web site
at http://www.natara.com/daynotez/purchase.cfm.

2.0  Quick Start Steps
============================================================

The following steps will get you up and running with DayNotez.

1) Open the downloaded Zip file and extract all the files
   into a temporary directory.  Run the setup program from 
   that location.  Or, if you have downloaded the 
   self-extracting Zip file, run that executable and follow
   the instructions.

2) During the setup, be sure to select the handheld devices
   that the DayNotez application should be installed on.

3) Perform a HotSync.  The DayNotez application is now installed 
   on your handheld and ready for use.

4) After making entries on the Palm, synchronize again.

5) Run the desktop application either by double clicking the 
   DayNotez icon in the folder opened by install, or by the
   start menu item found on "Start->Programs->Natara Software".

NOTE: DayNotez Desktop installation includes a version of the 
DayNotez Palm application that was the most current at the time of
the DayNotez Desktop Release. It is possible that DayNotez (Palm) 
has been updated since this release. It is advised that you always
install the latest released version of DayNotez (Palm) after installing
DayNotez Desktop. Doing that insures this you have the latest of both
applications.

3.0  Uninstalling
============================================================

Use the Add-Remove Programs control panel document to
uninstall DayNotez from your desktop.

4.0  Product Limitations and Requirements
============================================================

1) Requires Windows XP,2000,NT4,ME,98 (Windows 95 no longer supported)

2) DayNotez requires the Jet OLE DB driver version 4 or above.
   You can download the latest version of the Microsoft Data 
   Access Components from http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm.

   We recommend downloading and installing MDAC version 2.8 (or higher),
   if Setup complains about Jet/ADO not being installed or installed correctly. 
   If you do, you may also need to download and install the latest Jet 4.0 SP3 
   or higher.

3) Requires Palm OS 5.x or greater.
4) Requires HotSync Manager version 3.0 or greater.
5) 15 Category limit.
6) Each note is limited to 32K.
