Export Templates

Export templates provide a way to customize the information exported from DayNotez. The DayNotez handheld application supports the same export template format used by DayNotez Desktop.

Export template files have the extension ".dxt". The export template files should be placed in the folder "/Palm/Programs/Natara/DayNotez" on the storage card.

When the export is performed text is passed from the template file to the export output file until one of the special tags is seen. The special tags include the following.

•	macro - Inserts text based on the name parameter of the macro.

•	repeat - Repeats a portion of the template file based on the name parameter.

•	if - Only inserts the surrounded template text if the condition of the name parameter is true.

•	params - Special template parameter definitions.

Parameters

The sections in the parameter area include the following.

•	params - This section contains parameters for the export template.

•	param - An export template parameter.

•	translation - Groups a set of replacements.

•	replace - Defines text to be replaced within the output of macros. The format of the
