DetailsGeneral

Date and Time

The date and time are what make DayNotez a journal and not just a memo application. Each entry has a place in time. You can define filters to show only the entries you are interested in. The initial time can be rounded based on a preference option.

End Time and Duration

Set an end time or duration if you want to record the length of an entry. A summary of the duration information can be seen on the Statistics view. The duration can also be useful when creating an export file for billing purposes.

Category

Use the category attribute to group your entries. The Palm OS has a limit of 15 user defined categories.  The tags feature does not have this limit.

Private

Set this flag to mark the entry private. Private entries are hidden or masked by the Palm OS security setting.

Follow-up

Set this flag to make it easier to find entries you need to revisit. Create a filter to display only entries that have the follow up flag set.

Days since entry

Displays the difference in days between the date of this entry and today.

NoteNOTE: On a Treo smartphone you can quickly change the date of the entry by using the + and - keys (W and S) to advance or retreat the date when it is highlighted.
