DayNotez support the Palm OS Security application. Using the Security application you can assign a password to protect entries that are marked as Private.

When the security level is set to Mask Records the existence of the record can be seen, but the text of the record is not visible.

The password defined by the Palm Security application does not prevent running the DayNotez application. DayNotez has its own password that can be required to run the DayNotez application.
