DayNotez User Interface > Dialogs > Templates Templates are used to define the fixed text and attributes of commonly created DayNotez entries. Select the Templates command on the Options menu to create and edit templates. Each template has a name, text, and attributes. The name is only used to identify the template. When a template is used, the template text is inserted into the entry, and the attributes are assigned to the entry.
You can create a new template from either the Templates dialog, or from the contents of an existing note. The Templates dialog command is located on the Options menu. While editing a note, the Save as Template command is located on the Entry menu.
Special template names There are several special template names.
You can use a template to create a new entry, or to insert text into an existing entry. Tap on the template icon
It is possible to insert a template into an existing entry. The template text will be inserted at the current insertion point.
