Within the address book application display the information for a single contact. If Tap-to-Connect enabled then tap on the phone number to dial. Otherwise, select Connect from the Record menu.
The Quick Connect dialog is displayed with a list of available phone numbers. Tap the phone number that you want to dial. aIR-Dial will pass the number to be dialed to the phone and return to the contact page. There is a dialing preference that determines if the address book phone number will be modified before dialing.
Note: This feature is also available from several 3rd party address book replacement applications (e.g., Agendus and Contacts 5) that have implemented the Palm OS Quick Connect feature.
