Program a number from the contact list

Locate the contact to add to the phone. A simple way is to enter the first few letters of the contact's name. Tap on the contact to display all the numbers available for the contact.

Make any adjustments necessary in the phone number after selecting the number from the list. Few changes should be needed if the dialing preferences are correct. Tap the program button or program directory button.

The name and phone number will be assigned to the first available button. Note that the color of the button is highlighted to indicate that the new number has not yet been programmed to the phone. Tap and drag the number to another button if desired. Tap the Save button to program the phone.
