Thank you for your interest in the Bonsai 4 for Palm OS Beta
This beta is open to all Natara customers. Please post your beta feedback to the Bonsai beta section of the Natara User Forums.
Warnings:
- Bonsai 4 will be a paid upgrade. See upgrade notes below.
- Installing the Bonsai 4 beta will convert the installation to the 30 day trial mode until a Bonsai 4 registration code is entered.
- Once Bonsai 4 opens and saves outlines they can NOT be read with older versions. Make backup copies of your original outline files in the event you wish to drop back to Bonsai 3.
- The documentation has not yet been updated.
- Multi-byte character language customers: Please use in a test environment. The XML encoding header may need some work.
- Although in-house testing has shown the beta to be stable, it still could have problems that result in data loss. Please keep good backups.
What's new in Bonsai 4
Changes include;
- A custom numeric column with several roll-up options. Typical usage would be for project cost or duration calculation.
- Filter enhancements; Next Action, sorting Flat filters and filter Scope.
- Spell checker on the desktop (with check while you type in notes pane).
- Integration with Google Desktop for searching.
- The desktop OTL file format is now XML. This opens Bonsai to more integration possibilities on the desktop.
For a full list of additions and bug fixes, please see the readme file.
