DayNotez for Pocket PC User Interface > Note Entry > Menus

Start typing a new note or edit an existing note and you have access to several menu options.

 

View:

 

Details...:Opens the details screen so you can change the date or time, select a category, assign a keyword, assign a contact name, mark this note as private or needing follow-up. Tap on OK or Done when you're finished. Find more information under Details.

 

Word Wrap: Either on or off. When off, your line of text will continue until you put in a hard carriage return.

 

Toolbar: Shows or hides the toolbar used to quickly apply attributes (font, bold, italic, underline, etc.). Find more information under note entry/toolbar.

 

Voice Record Bar: Shows or hides the toolbar of voice controls (record, stop, play, etc.).  Find more information under Recording.

 

Typing: This mode is used for inputing text through whatever input method you choose. Find more information under Typing.

 

Writing: In this mode you handwrite your note and you can choose to convert it to type later. Find more information under Writing.

 

Drawing: In this mode you make freehand sketches which remain as graphics in your note. Find more information under Drawing.

 

Zoom:Sets the note's zoom percentage.

 

 

Menu:

 

Undo: Undoes the previous command.

 

Redo: Redoes the previous command.

 

Cut: Removes current selection to the clipboard.

 

Copy: Copies current selection to the clipboard.

 

Paste: Pastes the clipboard contents into your note.

 

Edit: Opens the edit menu, allowing you to clear a selection, select all, make format changes or paragraph changes.

 

Templates: Opens the template menu, allowing you to configure a template or use an existing one.

 

Tools: Opens the tools menu, allowing you to convert handwriting (recognize) or insert a hyperlink.
