DayNotez for Pocket PC User Interface > Note Entry > Writing
Writing mode allows you to use your regular handwriting to take notes. Later you can recognize that handwriting and it will turn into typed text. The text will then be viewed and saved as text. If you choose not to recognize the text it will be saved as a graphic until you choose to recognize it.
To write a note:
| 1. | Tap on view and then writing. The screen looks similar to lined paper. |
| 2. | Write directly on the screen using your stylus, as if you have a pen and paper. |
| 3. | Go to menu, tools and recognize. If you only wish to recognize a portion of your note, highlight that handwritten text and then recognize. We recommend you recognize your text before you make any modifications using the DayNotez™ desktop version. |
| 4. | Now your handwriting appears as typed text and you can make whatever adjustments you need. |
 | Tip: If you're having trouble selecting your text in writing mode, try switching to typing mode. You can recognize text in either mode. |
