The commands available on the menu for the Journal Page are as follows.
Entry Menu
| • | New - Start a new entry using the default template. |
| • | New from Template - Start a new entry by selecting a template for the list displayed. |
| • | Edit - Displays the Edit view for the selected entry. |
| • | Details - Displays the Details dialog for the selected entry. |
| • | Voice Memo - Displays the Audio tab of the Details dialog for the selected entry. |
| • | Photos - Displays the Photos tab of the Details dialog for the selected entry. |
| • | Copy Link to Entry - Copies the id of the selected entry to the DayNotez link clipboard. |
| • | Beam - Beams the selected entry to another handheld. |
| • | Delete - Delete the selected entry. The confirmation dialog provides archive options. |
Page Menu
| • | Find - Start a new find command. |
| • | Find Again - Find the next occurrence of the search string. |
| • | Go To Top - Position the journal page to the top of the day. |
| • | Go To Bottom - Position the journal page to the bottom of the day. |
| • | Export - Export the entries shown on the journal page. |
| • | Import To Do's - Import completed To Do's from the Tasks application. |
| • | Import Events - Import events from the Calendar application. |
| • | Import Memos - Import memos. |
View Menu
| • | First Day - Display the earliest date with journal entries. |
| • | Last Day - Display the newest date with journal entries. |
| • | Today - Display the journal page for today (may be blank). |
| • | Go Back - Use this command to return to the referring entry when a DayNotez link was followed to this page. |
| • | Archived on Card - Open an existing DayNotez archive from the storage card. |
Options Menu
| • | Settings - Configure DayNotez application settings. |
| • | Tags - Display the list of tags. |
| • | Filters - Display the list of filters. |
| • | Archive - Archive or Delete entries from the DayNotez database. |
| • | Security - Set the Palm OS security level that affects the display of entries marked Private. |
| • | Tell a Friend - Beam the DayNotez trial version, or send a message giving trial download instructions. |
| • | Check for Updates - Use your mobile browser to check to see if there is an updated version of DayNotez available for download. |
