Fall, 2005 Welcome to the quarterly Natara News update! Fall? Technically speaking there is still a week of astronomical fall remaining, but you would not know it here in Chicago. After a hot dry summer, winter has hit early and hard. I'm already wishing for spring and winter hasn't even started. In this edition we have exciting Bonsai and DayNotez news... Bonsai 4 is Available! Natara Software is excited to announce the release of Bonsai 4. Highlights of this release include;
Support for Google Desktop Search has also been added. Now you can search your Bonsai outlines in the same manner as you search the web. With help from Bonsai indexing plug-ins, Google Desktop can index all the outline files on your Windows machine. Search using the Google Desktop browser interface and click on a result. Bonsai will open the outline and display the requested item.  We have been surprised by the number of customers who have asked for a Windows only version of Bonsai. Bonsai 4 answers this need. This is a great option if you need to share outlines with someone who does not use a handheld. If you have a license for Bonsai 3 you can upgrade for a limited time for only $9.00 (normal upgrade price will be $12.00). Click Here for upgrade information. The Bonsai 4 upgrade is free if you purchased your original Bonsai license (not an upgrade) after March 31, 2005. You can download Bonsai 4 from the Natara website and other handheld software retailers that carry Natara Software products. Simply download and install this new version over your current installation to upgrade. DayNotez for Pocket PC The DayNotez for Pocket PC beta is nearing completion. If you would like to try the Pocket PC version out before its release you can find additional information on the Natara User Forums. We hope to contact you with news of its release soon. Stay tuned... Bonsai for Pocket PC Bonsai for Pocket PC is in the early stages of development.
