Summer, 2005 Welcome to the nearly-quarterly Natara News update! Sorry for the tardiness of this edition. Hopefully the news for our DayNotez customers will be worth the wait. In this edition we have DayNotez news on two fronts; Palm OS and Windows Mobile... DayNotez Desktop version 1.5 is Available! Natara Software is excited to announce the release of DayNotez Desktop 1.5.  In conjunction with this release, the DayNotez Palm OS handheld application has also been updated with a number of improvements and bug fixes. This update is free for all DayNotez Desktop customers.  You can download DayNotez Desktop from the Natara website and other handheld software retailers that carry Natara products. Simply download and install this new version over your current installation to upgrade. DayNotez for Windows Mobile Natara Software is excited to announce that we are growing our company to address the expanding Windows Mobile market. It is not uncommon for us to hear from customers who have migrated to Windows Mobile and miss using their Natara applications. The frequency has definitely increased in the last year. We are pleased to announce that Richard Murphy has joined Natara Software to head up the challenge of expanding the Natara product line to include Windows Mobile. Our first Windows Mobile product will be DayNotez. The product will include ActiveSync support and a Windows desktop application. Though the product will look familiar to current customers, it will also take advantage of additional capabilities that the Windows Mobile platform provides. Special upgrade pricing will be available for customers who own a license for the Palm OS version of the product.  For the past several months we have worked privately with a small group of customers who use Windows Mobile devices to test early versions of the software. We have reached the point where the application is now ready for a larger audience. If you would like to participate, a beta version of this product will available for all interested customers early next week. Check the Natara User Forums next week for details. Windows Mobile for Other Products What does this news mean for the other Natara products? Over time, we do plan to provide Windows Mobile support for the other Natara products. Natara Software is also committed to continuing development and support of its products for the Palm OS platform. This is no small undertaking as the development environments for the handheld and synchronization components are radically different between the two platforms.
